Coco fiber is an excellent base for any soil mix, it retains moisture well without becoming too wet and increases aeration thanks to its structure.
Our coconut fiber is ready to use and comes in convenient sachets, unlike most coco blocks which need to be hydrated and kneaded by hand before being usable.

Coco Coir vs Sphagnum Peat Moss
Coir and peat moss share many characteristics. Peat is not a sustainable resource and extracting it from the earth releases a lot of CO2. Coir is harvested from the shell of coconuts and is a waste product from other industries, such as the food industry. By using this waste stream, we not only avoid the unnecessary carbon emissions of peat harvesting, but we also use waste.

Coconut fiber also known as coir, usually needs to be buffered before it can be used. This means it needs to be placed in a buffer solution to remove the salt buildup that is naturally present in the coconut husk. This process has already been done for you, so you can use the fiber as soon as it arrives.
