Delivery of plants and terrariums, how your orders are packaged ?

You want to order a plant on the internet but you are afraid that it will be mishandled during transport ?

At La Green Touch, we take care to pack each of your orders with quality, eco-responsible materials.

Packaging used for transport

Contrary to what one might think, it is entirely possible to have a plant delivered directly to your home without having to go to a store.
Transport of plants is certainly something quite delicate, but rest assured thanks to the packaging we use, they will be protected throughout the duration of transport and will not suffer not.

Please note that your plants can stay up to 3 days in the box but not longer, the plants need a minimum light to be able to 'feed, a lack of prolonged light could harm your plants or even be fatal.
We will return to delivery times just in below.

For our plants & terrariums:

- The plant is packaged in plastic packaging adapted to its size. Inside there are cushions so that the plant is best maintained throughout the duration of transport and in order to to prevent the soil from spreading inside the package. To maintain the freshness of your plant, they are water regularly in our workshops before their departure to offer them the best travel conditions.
- Once the plant is packaged, we add bubble or craft wrap on top in order to protect it and prevent it from being damaged during transport.
- The final step, for our packages we use double-thick cardboard which we carefully close using suitable tape. Accompanying the package, you will find a card La Green Touch thanking you for your order and telling you the procedure to follow to leave us a notice as well as the customer service email address to contact us.

Our commitments regarding the materials used

At La Green Touch, we are concerned about the environmental problems that surround us, and this is why we are keen to participate at our level in the fight against waste and pollution.

Here are some of the actions we have implemented:

• Cardboard recycling in cushioning, to also better protect your orders.
• Most of the jars used for terrariums are made from recycled glass.
• Limit the use of plastic, our plant packaging is made from recycled plastic.
• Some of our plants are in POTS recycled plastic.
• Very soon the soil that we will use for our terrariums, the kits and that which will be sold will be French and organic, natural and respectful of the environment.
• Our pozzolan is organic and natural.
• We are fighting against plant waste thanks to “Second Growth” surprise baskets

With these commitments, we have bigger goals for the years to come.We want to no longer have any plastic packaging for 2022, offer more French and environmentally friendly accessories, and offer plants produced locally.

What is the delivery time and costs ?

For delivery we offer several options to best meet your needs and expectations.

In addition to the delivery time, you will also need to take into account the preparation time for your order which is generally 24 hours (excluding weekends).

The delivery time and amount depends on the carrier you choose:

- For GLS:
Delivery time is 48 hours and delivery costs are €6.50.
