Their growth therefore begins to gradually slow down and certain plants require special attention, follow our 5 tips to keep them alive!
1. We water our plants ? Yes but not too much!
Autumn and winter are two periods when indoor green plants will use less water due to low temperatures. It is important to space out and adapt your watering frequency gradually, once every 15 days is enough or even every month for certain plants. Water needs differ depending on the species of plants.

2. Trimming and cleaning to give them a little makeover
Autumn is also a good time to prepare your plants to survive the winter. To do this, you caneliminate any leaves that may be wilted or damaged this is what will subsequently allow your plant to make new young shoots.

5.Should you fertilize your plants before winter ?
Plants go dormant and resting during the colder months, so it is recommended to fertilize them during the first weeks of fall to ensure they receive the necessary nutrients to survive the winter. Use special slow or extended release indoor green plant fertilizer.
Be careful, however, with excess fertilizers and minerals which could harm your plant, so proceed with caution.

6. How to deal with pests ?
Summer is the most favorable period for insects and pests of all kinds with the rise in temperatures; however, be careful in autumn, scale insects, flies and red spiders are very present! The small chards burst from humidity, notably the fungi which accumulate in the potting soil and the substrate.
