The Calathea Makoyana is native to tropical environments of South America, it is therefore accustomed to average temperatures (between 13° C and 25°C). It should not be placed in full sun, but can tolerate slightly darker spaces.

WATERING

It is ideal for Calathea to keep the soilhumid , however you can let itdry on the surface and over a few centimeters. This corresponds to one to two waterings per week. You can add liquid fertilizer to your water every two weeks.

CLEANING AND PRUNING THE CALATHEA MAKOYANA

It is recommended tospray Calathea several times a week, or even daily, in order to clean their leaves and repel insects and spiders .
