How to use Araceae mix potting soil
Using the mix is easy! Start by removing as much of the old soil as possible. Gently squeeze the pot while holding it sideways to loosen the plant. Run the roots under warm tap water to remove the last bits.
Also, be sure to remove any dead foliage that may still be on the plant using scissors. Your plant is now ready to receive its new Aroid potting soil. Add a small layer of Araceae mix to the bottom of the pot.
Place the plant in the pot and slowly add Araceae mix potting soil around the sides to fill it in. Make sure that the point where the roots join the plant is just buried under the Araceae mix potting soil.
Lightly tap the Araceae mix into the pot. Be sure to water the Araceae mix thoroughly after repotting, as this helps to settle the mix and the roots.
How does Araceae mix work?
With years of experience in caring for these aroids, Sybotanica has developed the best formula. The Araceae mix contains a lot of worm castings, which strengthen the microbial life of the soil. The worm castings contain a large amount of nutrients that they slowly leach, so your plant never burns.
Araceae mix allows larger aroid roots to access the oxygen they need to grow and be healthy, thanks to a higher amount of perlite and coco chips. Coco fiber is an excellent durable base that does not compact and retains water longer, without remaining too wet. This means you can wait longer before watering your Araceae mix again.
This soil is hand mixed weekly in our greenhouse to ensure freshness by disabled people. This coco fibre based mix contains 0% peat and only organic nutrients. This ready-to-use Araceae mix ensures quick potting with excellent results. The added activated carbon prevents root rot, mould and other contaminants from harming your beloved Araceae mix.
Araceae mix is tested and appreciated by hundreds of gardeners for standard Araceae mix and rare & exotic species with amazing results. For long lasting and easy repotting, this mix is the best choice. Thick roots & healthy plants that are only in one bag.
« Mon conseil : brumisez le feuillage deux à trois fois par semaine, surtout en hiver. C'est ce qui fait toute la différence pour qu'elle s'épanouisse durablement chez vous. »
