Preparing your home for fall
With autumn often comes the desire to spend more time at home. As long as you feel good there!
Here are some ideas for an autumn decoration that will warm up your interior thanks to certain plants and flowers that you will no longer be able to do without.
What if these plants could even help you approach autumn gently? In a pot, in a vase, or fixed to the wall, focus on these dried plants and flowers that will make you love autumn!
THE drooping plants will easily green a corner of a room, or your office. Ivy, fern: you will find a multitude of varieties for a guaranteed comforting effect. We dust off the shelves of a bookcase or a dresser to make room for these new plants, which we arrange in series or sparingly on different floors.
You can also combine a set of plants whose foliage recalls the beautiful red, orange and yellow colours of autumn. Heather, chrysanthemum or pernettya for example, are outdoor plants that can also dress up the rooms of your house, on the edge of a window for example (be careful however to keep them away from heat sources and to ensure that they are watered regularly).
The bigger a plant is, the more well-being and comfort it provides. Opt for a beautiful and robust one Monstera Deliciosa or a Ficus Elastica. You can also choose to decorate your living room with autumn colours: Begonia Rex or Croton Petra will make your interior even warmer.
If you want to decorate a balcony or a terrace, choose the Japanese maple which will resist the cold, and whose red leaves are reminiscent of the beautiful Canadian forests.
You can also replace your tables with of the hanging frames in which you can slide dried leaves or flowers.
And yes! You haven't missed it, dried flowers are back. They bring softness and comfort to our interiors. We therefore opt for compositions of dried autumn flowers: simple and elegant! You can play with the sizes, associate a set of large and small bouquets of dried flowers above the fireplace, place a vase on the dresser in the entrance, in which you can put eucalyptus branches, or thin branches of freshly picked wood.
